A healthcare organization in Connecticut is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Psychiatric team at one of their facilities in Fairfield County.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Days, Evenings, or Nights
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm or 11pm to 7am
- Patient Population: Adults & Adolescents
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:
- Assessing patients throughout hospitalization
- Actively identifying patient problems
- Participating in the plan of care creation
- Implementing and evaluating the interventions to meet the patient's needs
- Providing and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- CT Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Psychiatric Nursing experience
- Experience working with the Acute Care, Dual Disorder, and/or Eating Disorder population
